There will be a water disruption in parts of southwest Trinidad on Friday as WASA carries out pipeline interconnection works.

The water company says the works would force the stoppage of operations at the Chatham Water Treatment Plant.

Areas to be affected between 6am and 11pm are:

Quarry Village, Rancho Quemado, Bennet Village, Santa Flora, Palo Seco, St Francis Village, Erin, Sheila Lamorell Gardens, Dickie Trace, Los Bajos, Los Iros, Waddle Village, Chatham North and South, Boodram Trace, Point Coco, Unity Road, Augustusville and the Southern Main Road from Cap De Ville Junction to Point Coco Extension Junction.
