At least 19 bodies have been recovered so far after an American Airlines flight collided in mid-air with a Black Hawk helicopter in Washington DC.
Both aircraft crashed into the Potomac River.
The jet was coming in from Kansas carrying 60 passengers and four crew members, while three soldiers were in the helicopter.
Rescuers are continuing to search the river in freezing temperatures.
The crash occurred near the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
According to BBC News, the US Figure Skating association has confirmed “several members of the skating community” were on board the plane.
