WASA says emergency repairs on an ongoing water disruption in parts of northwest Trinidad should be completed by 9pm today.
The company says there are mechanical problems at the El Socorro Booster Station.
These issues have led to low water pressure or, in some cases, no water supply to a number of areas, including: Barataria, Morvant, Laventille, Picton Road, East Dry River, Belmont, Woodbrook, West Moorings, Long Circular Road, Dundonald Hill, Dibe, Cocorite, St. Ann’s and Cascade.
WASA says it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to normalize to some areas following the completion of the repairs.
