WASA says an issue affecting water supply in parts of Central Trinidad is expected to be fixed by Friday afternoon.

The authority says electrical issues at Freeport Todd’s Well # 18 have affected supply to areas including Chickland, Mayo, Lower Couva, Preysal, Pepper Village and Calcutta # 1, 2 and 3.

WASA says supply is expected to be restored at 4pm on Friday.
