WASA says persistent rainfall has affected operations at some of its water treatment plants in north Trinidad.

As at 9am, the water company says the affected facilities are: Tompire, Matura, Guanapo, La Pastora, Caura, Acono and L&N.

They are being impacted by high turbidity and clogged screens, caused by flooded rivers.
