WASA is warning aginst politicking using the authority’s name, following alleged moves in the ongoing Local Government Campaign.
WASA says a particular political party is purporting to represent the Authority, and is advising persosn it will make arrangements for works to be undertaken.
The party, which was not named by WASA, is also taking credit for works that are being done by the Authority.
Due to this, WASA says it has been inundated with enquiries from members of the public concerning works promised by these unauthorized persons.
It is reminding the public that no political party, or former employee is authorized to direct the business of the authority or speak on its behalf.
