Investigations are continuing into an illegal water connection at the Queen’s Park Savannah.

According to a report by the T&T Express, a hose was run from a water well at the Savannah to the visiting circus.

The report also quoted a circus official who says the situation was a “misunderstanding” and that there was never any intention to access the water illegally.

103.1FM News spoke with WASA’s Senior Manager – Corporate Communications Daniel Plenty, who confirmed that an illegal connection had been cut and the hose removed.

He adds that an investigation is continuing, with appropriate action to be taken if deemed necessary.
