WASA is conducting emergency repairs to a leaking 6 inch pipeline at the corner of Frederick and Queen Street, Port of Spain.

It said repairs in the area were completed overnight, however another leak developed earlier today on the cast iron pipeline close to the initial repairs.

As a result, the emergency works are now expected to be completed by 6pm today.

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution or use alternative routes where possible.
