Wanted notice for Anthony Michael Smith

The TTPS has issued a notice and a photo for Anthony Michael Smith who was recently convicted of five counts of Trafficking in a Child.

At a media conference last week, National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds announced that Smith was the first conviction under the Trafficking in Persons Act.

He also revealed that Smith was not in custody, having disappeared shortly after his trial began in September, despite being a part of the Electronic Monitoring Programme.

He has been sentenced to 15 years in jail for each of the five counts, with the sentences to run concurrently.

Smith is 38-years-old, with his address listed as Tunapuna Road, Tunapuna.
