A virtual public consultation will take place this afternoon (October 25th, 2024) on T&T’s proposed new Registration Number Plate System.

According to the Works Ministry, the new system plans to standardize number plates with cutting-edge security, protect against fraud and illegal vehicle practices, boost efficiency in vehicle registration and law enforcement and modernize government’s approach to vehicle tracking and safety.

Manufacturers, suppliers and owners of vehicles are being urged to share feedback and concerns via the virtual session from 1:30pm today.
