A historic event took place last Wednesday, where seven Muslim organizations in Gasparillo came together for an Iftaar event in the community.

It was hosted by the Gasparillo Organisation For Community Development, and was hailed as a step in the right direction.

Councillor for Gasparillo/Bonne Aventure Ravi Pooran Maharaj said the gathering was a new idea, symbolizing the power of unity and community.
