UTT has announced the appointment of Professors Raffie Hosein and Andrew Jupiter as Honorary Professors in the Energy Systems Engineering Unit.

Both have been appointed for a period of three years, from September 1st 2024.

Professor Hosein is a petroleum engineer who has contributed extensively to education, research, and industry, primarily through his work at the University of the West Indies.

Professor Jupiter meanwhile is known for his expertise and dedication to T&T’s energy sector and governance.

UTT has also conferred the title of ‘Emeritus’ upon Professor Winston H.E. Suite, who is a distinguished academic and industry expert in civil engineering and construction.

According to UTT, Professor Suite’s contributions have influenced the field of construction engineering locally and across the region.
