US visitor registration now required for Canadians staying over 30 days

The US will now require Canadians visiting for more than 30 days to register with authorities effective April 11th.

As trade tensions continue, Canadians would not be required to apply for a visa but will have to complete a different federal form to enter in the US.

This move will impact some 900,000 Canadians who are known to spend winters in warmer southern US states such as Florida, Texas and Southern Carolina.
