United Patriots will hold a community meeting tonight at the Felicity Hindu School.

The slate is contesting all positions in the upcoming UNC National Executive Elections.

It is going up against the Star Team which is backed by the party’s political leader, Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

In a recently published release, United Patriots outlined some of its goals if victorious in the poll, including the acquisition of a permanent UNC Headquarters, and updating the party’s constitution to set fixed dates for internal elections, among other things.

It says it also intends to implement the UNC’s constitution “in full” and to ensure regular meetings and fulfillment of the objectives of each arm of the party.
