Underwater cameras and 360-degree drop cameras have been used in search and recovery efforts for Pete Phillip, to no avail.

According to Well Services Petroleum Company Limited, there were no signs of Phillip or any personal protective equipment.

Efforts have been ongoing to locate Phillip since the partial collapse of Rig 110 on December 22nd.

Last week, Well Services transitioned efforts from search and rescue, to search and recovery.

It noted that given the length of time that has passed and the challenging maritime conditions, it determined that the possibility of survival may be unlikely at this time.
