Tabaquite MP Anita Haynes Alleyne has confirmed that she was not selected as the UNC’s General Election candidate for the constituency.

In a release, she said she was informed of this today by the party’s National Executive.

She also expressed gratitude to the constituents and reiterated her commitment to “the critical work of advocacy and good policy development.”

When asked by 103.1FM News about her future political plans, Mrs Haynes Alleyne said that more will be shared after nomination day.
