Former Chaguanas Mayor Dr Suruj Rambachan has led a local government training session with UNC officials.

According to the party, the training was held with its mayors, chairmen, deputies and minority leaders following the 2023 Local Government Election.

Dr Rambachan, who was also Local Government Minister, emphasized that local government representatives must inspire the population with leadership and chart the way for the UNC to return to government.

He also challenged them to understand themselves as leaders who have the power to do good.

The training was held yesterday at the UNC’s Headquarters in Chaguanas.
