UK Visa fees to increase on April 9th

Visa fees to enter the United Kingdom are set to be increased on April 9th, ranging from four pounds more to 96 pounds more, depending on the length of stay.

This comes just weeks after it was announced that T&T citizens need to apply for visas to visit or transit through the UK.

A visit visa for up to six months will now cost 127 pounds sterling, while one for up to 10 years will now cost 1,059 pounds.

There are other fees for the visas up to 2 years, or up to 5 years, and transit visa fees as well, among others.

Government is enquiring with the UK High Commissioner to find out if these fee increases are applicable to nationals of T&T.

103.1FM checked the gov.uk official website, which shows the list of current and impending fee increases, with no specific countries outlined.
