Uganda have qualified for the 2024 T20 World Cup, booking their first-ever appearance in an ICC World Cup event.
On Tuesday, Namibia secured the first qualification spot from the Africa Region with a victory over Tanzania.
Uganda today grabbed the second and final qualification spot over Zimbabwe who, despite a 110-run win over Kenya, finished third in the Africa Region Qualifier.
Uganda beat Rwanda by nine wickets to finish in the top two and secure a trip to the US and West Indies for the World Cup in June.
They will become only the fifth African nation to feature in an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
