Instruments of appointment have been presented to UDeCOTT’s new Board of Directors.

The board will be led by Chairman Shankar Bidaisee.

Other members are: Deputy Chairman Peter Kanhai, Dr. Robelto Osborne, Hema Soondarsingh, Omkarnath Supersad-Maharaj, and Indira Bansee.

Addressing this morning’s ceremony was Works & Infrastructure Minister Jearlean John, who encouraged the Board to remain resolute and people-focused in the delivery of results.

She added that UDeCOTT was poised to play a “pivotal role” in the T&T’s infrastructural development and can be a powerful force for transformation as the country looks to economic diversification.
