Two men were wounded and are now in custody after police recovered a stolen vehicle.

Around 10:10pm yesterday, three armed men robbed a woman of her white Hyundai Elantra.

A high speed chase ensued after the vehicle was spotted on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, near the Curepe interchange.

A short while later, the stolen vehicle was intercepted in Sea Lots, with two of the three suspects injured in a shootout that ensued.

Officers also reportedly recovered two pistols with ammunition.
