Two men were shot dead around the same time yesterday, but at separate locations in Central Trinidad.

Around 4:15pm, officers responded to a report of loud explosions at Branch Trace in Enterprise, Chaguanas.

Upon arrival, they found the body of 40-year-old Avinash Gobin lying in a pool of blood on the floor of his home.

Enquiries revealed that the victim had just returned from work when he was shot.

Meanwhile around 4pm, 42-year-old Kimo Wallace was at Phyllis Lane Extension in Longdenville, when a white coloured Nissan AD Wagon pulled alongside him and several shots were heard.

Wallace was later found lying on the roadway in a pool of blood with apparent gunshot wounds.
