UPDATE

A man shot yesterday afternoon in Belmont has succumbed to his injuries.

103.1FM News understands that 41-year-old Atiba Ledley died this morning at hospital.

He was among two men wounded after a gunman opened fire at a mechanic shop at St Francois Valley Road.

INITIAL STORY

Two men were shot at a mechanic shop in Belmont by a lone gunman.

Police say the incident occurred around 5:30pm at the shop, located at Holder Corner.

The victims, are currently being treated at hospital, with one undergoing surgery.
