Two people have been killed and six injured following a shooting at Florida State University yesterday.

According to an AP News Report, a 20-year-old male suspect has been held, after he was shot and wounded because he refused to comply with police commands.

Authorities have not revealed a motive for the shooting, however the gunman’s weapon was said to be his mother’s former service revolver.

Police confirmed that the two men who were killed were not students, but no further details about the victims have been released.
