Two persons have been arrested after officers recovered four stolen cars in Arouca.

In the early hours of Christmas Eve, police conducted an exercise at Thomas Trace regarding a report of motor vehicle larceny in the area.

During a search of the premises, they found two Nissan AD Wagons, a Nissan Versa and a Nissan Tiida – all reported stolen.

A 54-year-old from Thomas Trace and a 24-year-old from Oropune Gardens were arrested in connection with the discovery.
