An 18-year-old is among two people who have appeared in court charged with the murder of Joshua Toney in Maloney Gardens.

Toney was shot when three assailants opened fire on a group at Building 7 on August 27th, 2023 – he died at hospital days later.

Following investigations, 34-year-old Dwayne O’Brian of Arima and 18-year-old Jordan Campbell of Laventille were arrested.

They appeared in court on September 8th and the matter was adjourned to October 5th.
