TTPS urges parents to discuss road safety with their children

With school reopening on Monday, the TTPS is encouraging parents to talk to their children about road safety.

During an interview with 103.1FM this morning, Inspector Sunil Harrilal said children should be aware of hazards on the road.

Meanwhile, TTPS Road Traffic and Safety Coordinator Sergeant Brent Batson said parents must be prepared if their children are going to school in new areas.

He advised them to visit the new school before Monday.

Both officers are reminding motorists to obey all road traffic regulations, especially speed limits.
