The TTPS says two suspects are continuing to assist police with their investigations into the death of 18-year-old Hannah Mathura.
A 66-year-old male relative was held on Wednesday night at an apartment in El Dorado – according to the TTPS, he was found lying on a bed and hiding under a mosquito net.
A 62-year-old female relative was also held at the house on Butu Road in Valsayn South, where Hannah’s skeletal remains were found buried in a shallow grave on Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports, an autopsy showed wounds consistent with a gunshot to the head.
Meanwhile the TTPS is yet to officially respond to claims from neighbours that numerous attempts were made to report incidents of abuse at the Butu Road house.
Several attempts by 103.1FM News to contact Police Commissioner Erla Christopher and other TTPS personnel have been unsuccessful.
