Persons are being reminded of election related offences ahead of the 2023 Local Government poll scheduled for August 14th.
At a media briefing today, Senior Superintendent Kerwin Francis reminded of prohibitions on loud music and music trucks.
There was also a warning against the sale and distribution of alcohol.
In addition to these, there is to be no political signage on Election Day, no assemblies or gatherings at or near polling stations, and no attempts to influence persons to vote for or against a party.
The TTPS says officers have been called out to ensure a safe and secure environment for the poll.
For the 2023 Local Government Elections there are 141 electoral districts, with 2,156 polling stations.
