The TTPS says there have been no reports or evidence supporting a bomb threat at the Besson Street Police Station.

In a statement issued a short while ago, the Service took note of reports being circulated that suggest such a threat.

It adds that while there have been no reports thus far, it remains vigilant, and that all police stations across the country continue to operate on heightened alert in alignment with security protocols during the ongoing State of Emergency.

It is also urging members of the public to remain calm and refrain from sharing unverified information that may cause unnecessary panic.
