Police are investigating claims by a local entertainer of poor customer service while trying to make a report of assault and robbery.

In a video on Facebook, Kenneth Supersad alleged that the incident occurred earlier this week after he got into an argument with someone at a bar in his community.

Supersad said that he went yesterday to the Arouca Police Station to make a report and was told to go home and wait for officers to contact him to give a statement.

In a media release this morning, the TTPS said an investigation was launched into his claims of assault and poor service at the station.

It assured that investigators have reached out to Mr Supersad for further information and various persons have been interviewed as part of efforts to apprehend the suspect.

The TTPS added that it does not condone the delivery of poor service to citizens.
