TTPS caravan to help address school violence

Police will be monitoring some secondary schools to see the effects of a caravan teaching young people about conflict resolution.

WPC Sasha Williams-Goddard, Leader of the St Joseph Police Youth Club, says the visited a number of schools across both Trinidad and Tobago to teach students new skills to make them better citizens.

She explained that, while the initiative has seen some success, police will be looking to provide further assistance in cases where it is needed.

The conflict resolution caravan is in its second cycle.

While registration is already closed, WPC Williams-Goddard says interested schools can send an email to communityconflictresolution@gmail.com and the team will try to accommodate them as quickly as possible.
