Police arrested five persons and seized two firearms during anti-crime exercises yesterday.

In the Eastern Division, officers of the Manzanilla Police Post arrested two men for possession of a pistol, loaded with a magazine containing 15 rounds of ammunition.

Meanwhile, in the Northern Division, officers of the Maloney Police Station found one pistol and nine rounds of ammunition in an apartment during an exercise.

And in the Southern Division, Princes Town officers arrested a 29-year-old San Fernando man for motor vehicle theft, a 31-year-old Princes Town man for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and a 45-year-old man from Iere Village for Breach of a Protection Order.
