TTNGL records profit decrease in 2022

The 8th Annual Meeting of TTNGL shareholders took place yesterday.

During this time, it was revealed that there was a decrease in profits last year when compared to 2021.

For the year ended December 2022, TTNGL, which is a subsidiary of the National Gas Company (NGC), recorded profit after tax of $165.8 million, compared to $192.3 million for 2021.

Responding to the decrease, TTNGL Chief Financial Officer, Sheldon Sylvester said the company was pursuing its growth and sustainability agenda, to improve its financial performance.

The profit decrease was also attributed to geopolitical tensions, the lingering consequences of the pandemic, and uncertainty in energy commodity markets.
