The Met Service says moderate to heavy rainfall amounts are expected during the second half of June 2024.

In a statement it says wet days are expected for the second 15 days of June from 16th – 18th, 20th, 24th and 30th, with relatively wet days also possible for the period: 19th, 22nd – 23rd, 25th –26th and 29th.

In Trinidad, the 15-day rainfall totals range between 60.0 mm and 160.0 mm across different farmlands favouring the southern, eastern and north-eastern areas of Trinidad: Sangre Grande, Fishing Pond; Plum Mitan, Nariva and Manzanilla and south-eastern areas of Mayaro, Guayaguayare, Moruga, Barrackpore and Penal.

In Tobago, 15-day rainfall totals range between 60.0 mm and 92.0 mm favouring south-western and eastern Tobago.
