T&T swimmers excel at Commonwealth Youth Games

T&T’s swimmer Nikoli Blackman won the 100m freestyle gold on day two of the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games swim events at the National Aquatics Centre in Balmain, Couva. In the final, Blackman clocked 49.60 seconds.

This adds to his 200, free win on Sunday night and he is hoping to get another gold in his upcoming 50m free event on Wednesday.

T&T’s Zarek Wilson was also a winner, taking the men’s 50m backstroke bronze.

He too is looking forward to more competition, as he swims in the 100 fly today, and also the 50m free on Wednesday.
