T&T has raised US$750 million on the international capital market.

This is according to the Finance Ministry which says Minister Colm Imbert made presentations to international investors at a road show on Monday.

It adds that a government bond with a prospective offer size of US$750 million was launched yesterday on the Bloomberg Electronic Platform and fielded offers totalling US$2.1 billion.

The Ministry says, after assessing the offers, the 10-year T&T Bond was finalized in the amount of US$750 million, which it believes is confirmation that the international financial community has confidence in T&T.
