T&T finishes seventh at Commonwealth Youth Games

Trinidad and Tobago finished seventh in the standings for the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games with 15 medals.

Action in the games, held in T&T, wrapped up yesterday with the host country grabbing four gold, five silver and six bronze medals.

According SporTT, this was a record-breaking haul for Team TTO.

Australia emerged from the games as overall champs with 26 gold and 64 medals in total, followed by England with 16 gold out of 49 medals and Scotland rounding off the top three with 12 gold and 28 medals in total.

T&T was one of two teams from the geographical Caribbean in the top ten – the other being the Cayman Islands.
