The US Transport and Safety Administration (TSA) conducted an audit of St Vincent’s Argyle International Airport (AIA).
The report delivered favourable reviews but also revealed minor deficiencies which included the need to upgrade internal safety audits and testing systems.
While the TSA does not have any jurisdiction over the airport, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said the intervention was beneficial as the US is a main market source for St Vincentian tourism.
