Tropical Storm Tammy has formed in the Atlantic.
The National Hurricane Centre says maximum sustained winds are near 65 km/h with higher gusts.
The center of Tammy is forecast to move near or over the Leeward Islands Friday and Saturday.
Tropical Storm Watches have been issued for:
- Barbados
- Dominica
- Martinique and Guadeloupe
As for T&T, Meteorologist Gary Benjamin says Tammy is forecast to pass north of both islands.
Instead, the forecast is for conditions influenced by the system.
The TTMS adds that there are currently no alerts, watches or warnings in effect for Trinidad and Tobago.
