A tropical depression has formed and is expected to cause flooding in Honduras later this week and over the weekend.
According to the National Hurricane Centre, the system is expected to move across the western Caribbean Sea and to stall near the coast of Honduras late on Friday and through the weekend.
It is forecast to become a tropical storm later today and continue strengthening if it remains over water.
