There’s a weather system in the Atlantic, which has a high chance of developing into a tropical depression, but at this time, it poses no immediate threat to Trinidad, Tobago.
And, given its projected path, it is not likely to affect T&T.
The Met Service says the area of low pressure remains about 1,700 kilometres east of the Lesser Antilles.
It currently is carrying showers and thunderstorms, while the depression may form in the couple of days.
The Met Service says it will give an update by 10am tomorrow.
