There will be traffic disruptions this weekend to facilitate scheduled demolition work on the Old San Fernando Magistrates’ Court.

In a statement, the Judiciary says Harris Street, from Lord Street to Knox Street, will be cordoned off from 6am to 8pm on the following days:

• Saturday 14th to Sunday 15th October 2023
• Saturday 21st to Sunday 22nd October 2023
• Saturday 28th to Sunday 29th October 2023
• Saturday 4th to Sunday 5th November 2023
• Saturday 11th to Sunday 12th November 2023

The traffic disruptions are to allow for the movement of heavy-duty demolition equipment and crane operations.

The Judiciary adds that normal operations will resume on Monday November 13th 2023.

The Old San Fernando Magistrates’ Court is located along Harris Promenade San Fernando.
