From today, there will be a weekend disruption of along the Eastern Main Road in Arouca, from Thomas Street to Railway Road.

The Works Ministry says this is to facilitate culvert reconstruction works.

The disruption will begin today (Friday July 28th 2023) and is expected to be completed on Monday July 31st 2023 at 6PM.

During this time, only local traffic would be permitted within the work zone.

For those heading westbound, Heavy T vehicles will be diverted via Golden Grove Road, while light weight vehicles will be diverted via Thomas Street and Railway Road.

For those heading eastbound, Heavy T vehicles will be diverted via Trincity Central Road, while light weight vehicles will be diverted via Railway Road and Thomas Street.
