Police Commissioner Erla Christopher says she has requested a report on the recent failure of two cases against 12 police officers.
She says disciplinary action has also begun against three of the officers involved.
This week, one case against seven officers was dismissed after the prosecutor failed to attend the hearing, while another case involving five officers was dismissed after the prosecution failed to comply with court orders.
Since then, there have been calls for the Police Commissioner to say what action will be taken moving forward.
The Top Cop also insisted that the TTPS has a zero tolerance approach regarding errant behaviour and that any officer found guilty of misconduct will face the full brunt of the law.
