Tobago-born Hollywood actor Winston Duke has been granted Rwandan citizenship.
Duke, who is best known for his role as M’baku in the Black Panther
movies, praised Rwanda for its work in gorilla conservation.
He recently was one of the gorilla namers at a naming-ceremony in that country, bestowing the name ‘Inta-rumi-kwa’ meaning Resilient Giant, upon a baby-Gorilla.
Duke, is originally from Argyle, Tobago and migrated to New York with his family when he was nine years old.
