Tobago’s budget for fiscal 2025-2026 will be presented on June 23rd by Finance Secretary Petal-Ann Roberts.

This information was shared by Ms Roberts this morning, as she spoke on the Tobago Updates morning talk show.

She said the presentation later this month will be abridged, with further elaboration to follow in October.

Ms Roberts also spoke about a recent meeting with new Finance Minister Dave Tancoo.

She said they discussed the way forward regarding to the upcoming mid-year review, with a request put forward by the THA.

As for 2026, she said they have asked for a minimum of 5.1% of the national budget.

According to Ms Roberts, this represents Tobago’s population share of the national population.
