A male suspect is in custody for the murder of a 40-year-old Tobago woman.

The victim has been named as Janelle Thomas of Signal Hill.

According to reports, her burnt body was found this morning in a drain at Glen Eagles Drive, Mt Irvine.

The incident is believed to be domestic in nature and investigations are continuing.
