Tobago officials have met with tourism stakeholders to address concerns regarding the State of Emergency.
Yesterday, a Tobago Security Council stakeholder meeting was held where Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tobago Division, Oswain Subero assured that officers will be trained to prepare them for interactions with tourists.
Generally, Senior Superintendent Earl Elie said police are actively engaged in dealing with crime in Tobago.
Chief Secretary Farley Augustine added that the core of safety and security is community, and urged citizens to cooperate with police where needed.
