Tobago was in the spotlight in New York over the weekend.

The island’s culture, products, and local talents were on full display yesterday (August 20th) at the Tobago Day event in Brooklyn.

The annual celebration is hosted by the Tobago Empowerment and Alliance Mission.

The event featured local food vendors, music, dancing, and more for native Tobagonians and visitors interested in the culture.

TEAM is a non-profit organization started in Brooklyn that promotes Tobago’s heritage.
